WFA INFORMATION Selection for the 2012 Rio Hondo College Wildland Fire Academy has been completed. Class 14 will start on January 17th, 2012. Those interested in attending future WFA’s should monitor this site for information. We anticipate holding 3 orientation meetings in the fall of 2012; followed by the pack test on a Saturday in early November. Dates for these meetings will be set once the class schedule for Rio Hondo College is determined. Dates for orientation meetings and the pack test will be posted on this site. Prospective WFA students are encouraged to enroll in any of the Wildland Fire Tech, Fire Tech, and EMS or GIS classes offered by Rio Hondo College.
